So, we have the 5.0.1 release done today! It was tough as we were/are swamped with the forum and other support posts. Philip had to burn quite a lot of midnite oil for this. He was the Release Owner this time.
I hope the 5.0.1 release solves quite a lot of issues that you were facing. We have not been able to take up all the code-contributions this time but want you all to know that we are committed to using the code-contributions.
It really feels nice to have code-contributed for the reason that it takes off so much load from one’s shoulders. It is actually a relief and God-sent if I may say. I wish that the code-contributions happen more frequently and we have someone helping us to integrate the same.
We will be opening up the branch access to a assistant who will co-ordinate with Philip on handling the code-contributions. Those interested please mail to philip at vtiger dot com.
