July 4th has come and gone, and with the barbecues, fireworks shows (which were sadly cancelled for us) and reminders to cherish the freedom we so dearly enjoy, we thought it important to reflect on how freedom is so deeply rooted in the culture of what we do.
In Vtiger, freedom runs deep and it runs old. It all started in 2004 with our open source roots, and remains in our eternal commitment to providing a free, open source CRM solution to anyone that wants it (and 4.2 million people, and counting, have taken us up on that!). It continues into our product strategy, with the development of one of the broadest sets of tools of any CRM solution, covering the entire customer life cycle. It exists in our design philosophy, with UI-based tools to customize anything in Vtiger. It’s in our pricing models, which are commitment free and low cost to ensure accessibility. And it’ll continue to fuel how we plan and build, to ensure more useful, easier, and broader access as we grow. If freedom can be measured in options and abilities, here are a few, more specific ways that it’s baked into your experience with us:
The ability to deploy across a single business area, or all of them
Different small businesses often prioritize improving different areas of the customer experience. While one focuses on customer service case resolution times, another seeks growth in email campaign reach, and another on deal win rates. Eventually in a growing company’s future, all become important.
Vtiger gives you the ability to start with a focus on one business area, with the scalability to become a complete, integrated business automation solution when you’re ready. Whether you start with the sales edition for contact centralization, lead capture and nurturing, or with the support edition to manage customer service cases and engage through private portals, you can have both and even step beyond the two in just a few clicks, to integrate with third party software, manage projects, control inventory, and much more.
The ability to build entities and modules to capture outside-the-box information, without it being rocket science
For a business that thinks outside of the box, the typical CRM’s standard record types just aren’t enough. A property management firm, for example, should also be able to store properties linked with property owners. That’s where Vtiger’s Module builder comes in.
The module builder gives businesses the ability to create entire new modules using a simple user interface. A property management firm can create a properties module to store managed properties, and add fields, like address, and number of bedrooms, to capture key property information. It can then create as many properties as it manages, and link them to owner contacts as necessary for organized, easy access.
The ability to connect with more than 400 software applications at just clicks
Different business teams use different applications to get work done. Marketers generate new leads through social channels, sales teams virtualize client meetings with web conferencing apps, and the entire business collaborates with slack. This means that the data your teams need to work is hard to find.
With Vtiger CRM and Zapier, your teams have the ability to use what apps you want, while all important data is brought into Vtiger. Facebook messages are created as leads in Vtiger. New leads in Vtiger trigger messages to sales in Slack. It’s all there, connected, and seamless.
If you’ve been looking for a solution that’s powerful enough to manage a sales team of 20 or 200, handle your complex data sets or do any of this, and is customizable down to the tee, give us a call at 1-877-784-9277. We’d love to show you how we can help!
