Frequently Faced Migration Issues

It has been few months since vtigerCRM5.1.0 release and expect
quite a good number of people have migrated to the latest version.

During this period, we have come across the issues frequently faced
by the community members.

Issue: In Accounts modules ‘More Information’ tab displayed nothing except for a blank page ?
Reason: This occurs because of installation of some custom module (Project module) in vtigercrm504.
Fix: Disable the custom module (Project module) from the Module Manager of vtigercrm510.  

Issue: After Migration list view does not appear ?
Reason: This occurs because the tables vtiger_tab and vtiger_users in this setup are not of type InnoDB, but of type MyISAM.
Fix: Refer this forum post [link removed]

Issue: Settings page menu is coming multiple times
Reason: Migration fails silently without renaming the required files and directories and people just run the migration one more time.
