As promised, we’re back with more information about Vtiger Social! Previously, we introduced[1] you to the Social module and discussed its Facebook aspect[2].
In this post, we discuss how to use Google My Business from the Social module.
Google My Business or GMB is a tool that helps businesses manage their online presence across Google platforms, including Search and Maps.
Through Vtiger CRM’s Social module, you can log in to your GMB account to create and publish content, manage reviews, and answer users’ questions.
Furthermore, you can configure multiple GMB accounts on Social depending on your business location. For example, Vtiger CRM could have two GMB accounts as the company is located in two different regions.
Let us look at some benefits of using Vtiger Social with support for multiple channels.
- It’s a one-stop destination for all your social media posts, interactions, and updates.
- You can post content on different social platforms simultaneously.
- You don’t have to use a separate tool to create and schedule social media content.
- It’s a time saver as you can manage your tasks and other CRM records along with your social media platforms.
We’re now ready to dive into the features of Vitger Social!
Creating and publishing content
- Choose the accounts to post on and enter the content.
- You can also upload photos to your posts (GMB does not support videos).
- Choose a Call-To-Action (CTA) to direct users to act on after reading your post.
- While you’re creating content, you can see a preview of it on the right.
- If you do not want to post immediately, you can even schedule posts to the desired date and time.
Managing Google reviews
Users can find your business on Google. If they have interacted with your business, they can also leave reviews or questions. You can see these reviews in the Social module and reply to them instantly.
Answering questions
Users may have questions about your business or the products you sell. When they post these questions on Google, you can view them on Social and reply to them. Your replies to these questions appear on Google when users look up your business.
The Social Inbox
Apart from these significant features, you can also get a birds-eye view of all your social activities under the Social Inbox. You can even filter the activities by channel to view only the information you want.
Additionally, you can add or remove accounts from the Social module as required.
