Did you know that many hosted server`s provide automated installation scripts for vtiger Installation. You need not upload the package through FTP and run through all the installation steps.
All you need to do is, login to CPanel of your hosting server and check Software Services that they provide. If you find vtiger listed then your task is cut out.
